Partiez en safari animalier à la rencontre des baleines à bosse entre Paea et Mataiea, une zone encore peu exploitée (nous sommes les seuls prestataires entre Punaauia et Taravao!) Nos guides expérimentés et passionnés vous ferons donnerons des informations sur leur biologie et vous encadrerons si des mises à l'eau sont possible, dans le plus grand respect des rÚgles d'approche établies par la DIREN.
Vous embarquerez à bord de Stenella, un bateau récent de 28' confortable et spacieux.
Cette excursion est proposée de fin juillet à mi novembre environ.

Isabelle operates exceptional tours!! She is very knowledgeable and shows a lot of respect for the whales. The tour was orangized and fun. I had a magnificent experience searching for and observing the whales with her and the Captain. Highly recommended!!
Amazing Whale Diving

When I think of the experience I had when diving with Moby Dick, words like spectacular, exquisite, breathe-taking and ephemeral come to mind.
This operation was absolutely run at the highest standard. The guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were incredibly respectful to the whales (which we saw four of in one four hour tour) in both their approach and their demeanor in the water.
They also took us on a wall dive near Paea. For the price, it is absolutely worth every penny.
Compared to other whale watching/swimming excursions that I undertook on the island, competitors donât even come close. This is where you want to book your whale watching trip.

Une sortie incroyable le 19 août menée de main de Maitre par Isabelle dans des conditions de reve: mer d huile, soleil et surtout baleines au rendez-vous!

We came at the tail end of whale migration season-saw 4 humpback whales, two pods of dolphins, grey shark, and many flying fish! Our guides were very pleasant and knowledgeable of the marine life. The ocean was a little rough on the journey back to shore but Isabel navigated like a pro! Incredible experience.

There's few things better than a beautiful day, a tranquil sea, and the sighting of whales. Our boat skipper was dedicated to obeying the rules and not disturbing the whales which was great, and even so, we got to within a good watching distance. They didn't want to stay and investigate us when we got in the water but it was still a magic day. If we want to save the whales, this is a really good place to start and I'd say MUST DO THE MOBY DICK TRIP if you come to Tahiti.

If you are looking for a really sustainable and respectful way to get close to those beautiful giants of the oceans, then Mobydick Tahiti is the right choice.
No fully revved and noisy engines, not one whale in the middle of 5 - 10 watching groups. Isabell and her crew prefer the quiet and cautious approach. And yes, this can also mean that you will not see any whales in the first hour, because the spots are located in the more remote parts.
But you will be rewarded by magical moments, when the whales stay relaxed near you and appear again and again where you float in the sea. And every tour with Isabell still makes us reminisce about the fantastic pictures with shining eyes.

Isabelle knows her Whales! We had an excellent talk while still on the dock, and further information as we went out into the bay in search of Humpbacks.
We soon found a Mother and Calf. Isabelle timed their breathing (surfacing) and confirmed that they were staying put.
The boat stayed a 100m from the Whales so as not to scare them.
Most on board then donned their snorkel gear (Isabelle can provide everything, including wet suits), and entered the water very gently.
We swam, without splashing to the location of the Mother and Calf.
I think the photos tell the story. We had the pleasure of their company for a good half hour, the calf being more inquisitive than the Mother.
She did a couple of huge breaches as she left our company.
We saw several more whales, on the surface, as we gently made our way back to the dock.
Isabelle offered us the option to do some more snorkelling near the beach, but I think everyone on board just wanted to savour the memories of the Whales!
This was a most amazing experience.
