We had a wonderful time touring Tahiti with Yota. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island and has done his research. He speaks 3.5 languages fluently: English, French, Japanese, and Tahitian(the .5). He correctly guessed which direction to head to avoid the rain. We did all the listed stops as well as a visit to the botanical gardens because I'd read about them and Yota accommodated me. Made me very happy. The benefits of a private tour! We also stopped for juice at a roadside stand which was delicious. Yota made an effort to include our 17 year old daughter when she starting looking checked out, and was happy to chat with my very chatty husband. My favorite things were the gardens, waterfall, and the marue (sacred site). My husband and daughter both liked the waterfall best. Overall it was a great day and we highly recommend it.

Yota was a great guide and very communicative. Due to unforseen heavy rain complications, the tour was slightly delayed and we pivoted on some of the sights seen. Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed the experience as he shared some highlights that were available and even extended the tour time later into the evening. I would definitely use him again next time we are in Tahiti for the areas missed due to bad weather

The half circle tour with Yota is a MUST. Yota, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about Tahiti. He took us all around the most beautiful (and some sacred) spots around the Island. He explained the history behind all the sites we visited and he was prepared to answer all of our questions. We cannot recommended him enough!! If you are in Tahiti and would like to go around the island and see the most amazing sites, definitely go with Yota, and tell him Aria says hi!

We had little time before flying back and we did not wanted to see many things without being slowed down by a group. Yota was an excellent guide, passionate about the history, culture, sport and plants of the island. He has a lot of interesting facts to share during the tour. On top of that he is a good photographer and helped us to take pictures of the various spots we visited. Totally recommend!
Highly recommend doing this tour if you are only in Tahiti for a day or two!!

We booked the Private TAHITI Half-day Circle Island Tour with Yota and had an amazing time. Yota picked us up at our hotel (Hilton Hotel Tahiti) at no additional cost. The tour was just my fiance and I so it was very private. Yoya took us to all the hot spots around the island and was very flexible with the itinerary. If we wanted to stay longer at a spot we could. He was also very knowledgeable of French Polynesia. Every question we had for him he answered in detail. He was so kind, fun and a general pleasure to be with. We loved him. And not to mention, he's an excellent photographer so if you're not the best at taking pictures don't worry Yota will hook you up

Yota took us around the entire island of Tahiti providing his expert knowledge of French Polynesia and a wonderful sense of humor. Every question we had for him he answered in detail.
