The base is the Belvedere in one hour but what I recommend is 3 hours for the center of the island:

- fruit juice factory and distillery, with tasting
-Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay
-Maharepa village
and you can add visit time for 8000 XPF (80USD or 70€)/additional hour (one more hour for the full tour).

My sisters and I really enjoyed Spirou sharing her island that she clearly loves. She was very knowledgeable about Moorea and all its special features and lovely things to see and appreciate. We were originally going to rent a car and drive ourselves around the island. What a mistake that would have been. We would have missed all the terrific sites and explanations that Spirou shared with us. Our tour with Spirou was excellent and we have very fond memories of our wonderful time on Moorea. I found Spirou kind of by accident. While planning my French Polynesian adventures, I came across her tour on a list of best tours in Moorea, and when I saw that her favorite color was blue (same as mine!) I knew I had to take a tour with her! So, I did, and it was fantastic! She's very fun and knowledgeable and clearly loves her island! She loves nature and I learned a lot about local flora and fauna as well as the culture and history. I definitely recommend taking a tour with Spirou!

Spirou was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geology, plant and animal life on Moorea. Very charming and knowledgeable. Her English was excellent and she is fluent in six languages. She pointed out many places to eat, shop and visit. Her tour was much cheaper than a similar tour offered by our cruise ship. We would highly recommend using her as a guide and driver.
Her van was in good condition, easily seats 5 passengers and she is a safe and considerate driver.

Totally amazing tour! We picked a few things we wanted to see and Spirou made suggestions for some things we might like and the day was a perfect hit! She even dropped us off in the little shopping area so we could visit the dress stores, market place and the wonderful pearl shop! We learned about the different plant, visitors the rum factory and of course made a purchase of our favorite! Learn about different history. I can not say enough abut this tour. Spirou provided us with an amazing experience on our 3 hour Moorea Island tour. Our group would highly recommend booking a tour with Spirou, a local who has such an intimate knowledge of this stunning island. We arrived on our tender from our cruise ship and we’re off on a magical exploration of local culture, beautiful vistas, sampling of jams, fresh juices and ice cream from the local agricultural college was a pleasant experience and of course some amazing alcohol was enjoyed by all at the Manutea Juice Factory and Distillery! All in all our experience was truly amazing and we were so happy we chose this tour!!!

We met Spirou Thebaud in the port after tendering from the Viking Neptune and she was so pleasant and exuded this great energy, so we hopped in her van! We had a wonderful introduction to the spectacular Society Island of Moorea. We traveled to Belvedere lookout to view the 2 bays, Cook and Opunohu, and learned about the economy, flora, history, some wonderful cultural stories and heard about how pearls are harvested and why pearls from this region are black. She was delightful. No need to look any further for a private tour guide.
