Mo'orea Motorized Outrigger Snorkeling & Lunch

Really lively, fun and talented hosts! I will recommend to everyone. Small group was a lot of fun. Food was wonderful. Poisson Cru was the best I had on the whole 10 day vacation!

Great trip! I would...

Great trip! I would highly recommend. Had a slight delay in getting picked up to go back to the ferry, but all else was outstanding.

Don't miss out on this amazing tour.

One of the best tours we have ever experienced! We were staying on Tahiti and took the first ferry over and were picked up at the terminal on Moorea. Our guide was awesome, teaching us about the island and it's history. Snorkeling in the beautiful water with rays, sharks, and all sorts of fish. Followed by learning to peel and open coconuts and a delicious lunch. Did I mention our guides made us hats out of palm leaves? If you do one activity while visiting French Polynesia, this is it. We plan to go back and stay on Moorea and will do this tour again with friends joining us.

I don’t know where to begin…

We took the tender from our cruise ship to meet the outrigger canoe that awaited us…hah to all of those who remained at the dock waiting for their tours! We were the only ones from the ship and we joined three other couples who were staying at resorts for our journey. We proceeded to an area where the sting rays and sharks were plentiful and the water was crystalline…forgot to mention that we picked up some floating coconuts along the way…more on that later! We then went to another area to snorkel and view coral in supremely calm and clear water…this was followed by our ride to the island where we were taught how to open coconuts (there they are), tie a sarong, make poison cru, drink Tahitian beer…a total cultural immersion! We were regaled by ukulele music whilst on the canoe and on the islet. Wilfred is a star!

Perfect Day & great value for $

This is a not miss experience. We were picked up from our lodge at about 7.30am (Moorea beach lodge) where we were taken to the boat dock. Introduced to our guide and then left for the day on the water. We saw dolphins, turtles, stingrays and sharks. We went into the different bays and swam on a sandbank with the sharks/rays. Taken to another spot on islands off the coast where there were more fish. Taken for lunch on the other side of the second spot where we could play around and feed the stingrays and the sharks were come up close too. The cracking open coconuts and drinking the water & eating them was memorable. This trip is good because everything is included in the price and you only have a maximum of 12 guests. Drinks (alcohol, water & juice), lunch and fresh fruit, hotel pickup, snorkelling gear is included. Not every tour does this so it’s something to consider as transport, food and drinks are not very cheap in French polynesia. Our guides were amazing and made us feel welcomed, informed about the history of the island and were good with the kids on our tour too. A+ would recommend. I did this with my partner and we are late 20’s from Australia/NZ

Amazing trip and value.

Outstanding trip and value! Captain Wilford along with Elvis provided for an amazing day of Moorean life! From snorkeling to serenading, they covered it all with a most welcoming atmosphere. Both English and French used. The need for fins was not realized as the waters were shallow but the use of water shoes is recommended as the current has to be contended with as well as some rocky bottoms. Lunch was great and the day zoomed by. Highly recommended.
