Wonderful experience with generous and kind Captain Benoit

This snorkeling trip was amazingly beautiful and peaceful and we loved every minute of it! Captain Benoit is genuinely engaged with the ocean as well as with the people he welcomes in his tour. We were booked for a 5 people tour but we were only 2, and Benoit took us anyway, so that this turned into a special moment for us. We saw many different fish and coral species, in various environments. Benoit was very careful to show us everything interesting happening around us, and later on the boat, to explain and reply to our questions. He also educated us in the way to be careful about corals and fish when snorkeling. And he took more than 200 underwater photos that he sent us free of charge! We felt blessed really, and warmly recommend this tour with Captain Benoit, who is so genuinely engaged in sustainability in his activity, extremely kind with his guests

Captain Benoit gave us (French/Australian couple) a wonderful experience. He is fun, welcoming, helpful and generous, but best if all he loves the coral and its fish with the gentleness of a parent. In an hour and a half we saw an astonishing range of sealife, and he briefed us well beforehand on what to look out for and what signs he’d use for each

Captain Benoit is such a gem! The place he took us to had a lot of coral and fish. He pointed many different kinds of aquatic life during our snorkel. A bonus that we did not anticipate is that he took over 200 underwater photos of us and provided them to us afterwards for no additional cost. We don’t have a GoPro or underwater camera, so we truly appreciated the effort he made to give us photos of our experience.

Amazing amazing experience. One of the best snorkeling trips I've had. Captain Benoit is a great guide and guided the trip perfectly. He also taught how to effectively dive inside the ocean while snorkeling after I showed interest. The photos at the end are a big plus!
Best Snorkel Experience in 46 years!

On a Cruise headed for New Zealand and Australia that we waited 46 years to take, one of our ports was Tahiti. We'd been there previously but didn't have time for an excursion. For this trip, we booked a Snorkel Trip with Captain Benoit through Viator. My husband loves to snorkel and has done so in most of the Caribbean Islands, South Pacific Islands and Mexico. This was an epic experience for him. The tour is for 5 people maximum. But we were the only ones to show up. Captain Benoit provided an excellent experience. He explained in detail where they would be going, what they would see, safety concerns and appropriate procedures of navigating. Captain Benoit also takes underwater photos of your experience. My husband said it was truly the best snorkeling experience he'd ever had. Thank You Captain!

An excellent experience wonderfully captained by Monsieur Benoit.
Great boat and equipment. Very safe, very informative, very helpful, all of which with a hour and a half's brilliantly guided snorkling over the protected reef just off Papeete made it a perfect outing.
