Christian is a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide that really knows a lot about the areas history. He’s warm, friendly, and has friends all over town, so creates a very VIP experience. Highly recommend this tour.

Christian was a great tour guide who gave us a lot of information about the city and the island. It was a Sunday, so most everything was closed, but we were still able to get a good tour!

Great walking tour. Christian was very knowledgeable about the city of Papeete and the history and government of Tahiti more broadly. And I swear he knew half the population of the city. Great tour!

Very nice walking tour where you can truly get the flavor of the locals and local businesses. The island is clearly struggling from the one two punch of historic destruction form the typhoon followed by two years plus of covid oppression. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and provided a lot of island and local history. We got to see the local market, businesses, government facilities, and historical monuments. There are no museums that provide that kind of information. If you can make the walk be careful of high curbs and uneven walk surfaces. Definitely worth the time and money. If you get the opportunity take this tour. You will enjoy the walk and the history.

Good to learn about the history surrounding Papeete and visit some of the places most tourists don’t see. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was happy to modify the tour to suit our needs and allow time to shop at a local handcraft market that was not on the usual tourist route. Highly recommend this tour.
