FANTASTIC !!!
Nikki our captain was the greatest !!
Took us everywhere we wanted to go.
Saw whales breaching, turtles and Emil our guide took photos with us and a stingray.
AMAZING.
Best time ever. Would repeat.
I booked a private boat tour with Nicky and Fabien at Mana Hau Boat. It was the best thing I did during the two weeks of travelling around The Islands of Fiji. As soon as we were in the boat we discussed what activities I would like to do and a tailormade itinerary was agreed. We cruised along the coastline to take in the spectacular scenery of the Island of Moorea from the sea, before stopping off to snorkel with blacktip sharks and sting rays, what an experience that was. We then headed to deeper channel where we spotted 12 eagle rays riding the currents, these were then joined by black tip sharks, a sting ray and turtle. Nicky said it was my lucky day and it's rare to see so much marine life all together. We swam with turtles, there were at least ten either swimming or resting on the ocean bed in the protected reserve. On the way back to Cooks Bay we visited one of the stunning coral gardens for more snorkelling and returned along the coast and via Opunohu Bay, soaking in those spectacular views again while enjoying Nicky's home made Rum Punch. Nicky and Fabien are the kindest couple and go out of their way to guarantee you the best and most authentic experience. The boat was spacious and extremely comfortable. I definitely recommend booking the private tour, it is worth the additional cost, to be able to tailor the day to your preferences. This was the highlight of my entire trip, Moorea is a beautiful Island, more so than Bora Bora in my opinion. Even if I hadn't of been so lucky to see all the marine life I did, the tour is still worth it just to spend time with such a beautiful and kind couple and to see the spectacular scenery from the water.
