In order to guarantee a better experience for our customers, our tower has a maximum capacity of 6 people, i.e. two times less than a classic tour generally offered on the market. This allows our guide and our captain to take care of you.
It is essential for us to ensure respect for the tranquility and well-being of animals, and more particularly humpback whales. This is why having a capacity of up to 6 customers allows us to have a minimum impact on the animals.
It also promotes better observations and interactions with animals.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We had an amazing day with Mana and Ryan. The experience started with booking, which we did in very last minute and the Moorea Sea Experience Team was very helpful and guided us through all alternatives; Very next next day Mana and Ryan picked us up and off we went. Mana carefully explained safety rules and how to behave and respect the Whales. I was very impressed with the fact that there was mutual respect between all the boats and Mana and Ryan clearly seem to understand and "read" how the whales would behave. They were very patient and mindful of their environment and surroundings. Patience and respect paid off: We ended up swimming real close to a couple of Whales. Breathtaking!!! We had a surreal experience and then Mana and Ryan managed to get us again very close to another group of Whales!!! AMAZING!!!
We had our 9 and 7 years old together and everybody felt safe. Thank you Mana and Ryan for this once in a lifetime experience!!! The girls will take this for the rest of their life!!!

I can’t express my gratitude for the care they took with my handicap wife and 70 year old mother. It is very difficult for my wife to get in and out of a boat and they did everything in their power to make sure she was able to swim with all of the wildlife. Turtles, stingrays, sharks, manta rays, and best of all pilot whales. This is just some of the great things we were able to swim with. They definitely make sure everyone is safe and gets to experience it all. Mano was great and even pulled my wife and mother on the longer swims so that they could snorkel the long turtle reef. They definitely made our trip to moorea and I will remember you all forever. Thank you and hope we meet again one day.
Just a side note: I took one of the 12-14 people tours and they just tried to make you feel like I wouldn’t be able to keep up as I’m over weight. Mano and his crew were total opposite and made sure everyone could do it. You won’t be disappointed!

It went beyond our wildest imagination!!
We were extremely lucky to find two curious and playful whales, who kept coming back to us several times and gave us opportunities for these gopro captures.
Our guide Manatea and captain Gael took great care of us. We really feel the passion and respect about the ocean and whales from them. It took close collaboration between them to fulfill the experience.
Our first attempt wasn't successful because the first pair of whales we spotted from afar were too shy and kept swimming away from us. But Mana and Gael kept searching - and we managed to find a second pair. Thanks to their knowledge, we are able to swim efficiently based the whales' movement trajectory.
The boat is very well equipped, snorkeling equipments and fins are in great condition, plentiful of water, juice and rum punch (for a nice finish). There is also a buoy onboard.
The private session really helped in accomodating my husband, who is less familiar with open water but nevertheless managed to quickly adapt and even took all the videos.
Lastly, it takes teamwork to find the whales - taking pills to prevent sea sickness and be mentally / physically prepared for a good amount of swimming in open water really helped in our case.
